Is it really free?

Yes. You never pay us anything. We are paid a small fee by the engineer for the introduction, which is why the service costs you nothing and why you are under no obligation to accept any quote.

How many engineers will contact me?

A maximum of three. The cap is enforced in the database, not by a policy someone might forget, so a fourth engineer cannot be given your details even if they ask.

How quickly will I hear from someone?

Your job is sent to local engineers within about a minute of you submitting it. When each one rings you is their call, not ours, so we do not promise a time we cannot control. If your boiler has failed completely, say so and the job goes out flagged as urgent.

Are the engineers really checked?

We check the Gas Safe Register before an engineer joins the network and before a job is sent out. Gas Safe registration is a legal requirement for anyone working on gas appliances in the UK, and you can check any engineer's number yourself at gassaferegister.co.uk.

What if I rent?

A boiler replacement has to be authorised by whoever owns the property, so we can only arrange quotes for homeowners. If you rent, pass this on to your landlord.

What do you do with my details?

They go to a maximum of three Gas Safe registered engineers so they can quote, and nowhere else. We do not sell data on to third parties and you can ask us to delete everything at any time.
